There is a lot of information and research around about the effects of burning candles on our health. Some experts claim that paraffin wax candles (petroleum based) give off harmful fumes linked to lung cancer and asthma - but admitted it would take many years' use to risk health. In addition, some candles are made fom lead core wicks which are equally as harmful to our health when burning.
When you purchase a candle from us, you can be sure you are buying a natural, safe and non-toxic candle to burn in your home. We use only the best quality natural and environmentally friendly ingredients to make our candles - EcoSoya wax, palm wax and 100% cotton wicks. You can always have peace of mind when you burn our candles that you are not harming the environment or your family's health.
Soy Wax
We use EcoSoya wax for our soy candles, which is made from 100% soybeans and carefully selected botanical oils. As a result, our candles have a smooth top surface and an even smooth burn pool with consistent colour retention.
Our soy candles are:

There are many benefits to using EcoSoya as a candle wax instead of traditional waxes such as paraffin wax. Soy wax:

Palm Wax
We source our palm wax from suppliers that are partners with the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil. This organisation was founded by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and heads of government and industry involved in palm cultivation. The RSPO was founded to develop and define best practices for sustainable palm cultivation, and then help member organisations to implement and verify the procedures.
This means we do not use palm wax that contributes to deforestation of these important habitats.
We use a variety of different palm wax in our candles, depending on the desired effect such as crystal, feather or lava effect. Our palm wax candles are all natural and 100% palm oil based which means they are environmentally friendly, non-genetically modified and non-toxic.
Palm wax is a superb material for making excellent burning candles. It resists melting in hot summer months and takes fragrance exceptionally well which means your house will be smelling beautiful in no time!
